Reproduction on small box frame - Watchman's Bell
Original painting: "Watchman’s Bell", 48”x55.12” (122x140cm), acrylic on wood.
In many representations of Lord Ganesh, the watchmans bell hangs at the centre of his trunk. He is described in the Puranas as the gatekeeper, seated on the petals of the Muladhara Chakra, the primary energy centre or the nerve ganglia at the base of the spine. Tantric mystics have long spoken of the sound of a ringing bell in the deepest states of meditation, as the watchman, Lord Ganesh opens the gates to the path of spiritual consciousness.
Reproduction: High quality Giclee print on canvas and stretched onto a sturdy box frame. Size 7.87”x9.45” (20x24cm).
The square box frame can stand by itself on flat surfaces or can be hang directly as it is on a nail.
